There's always excitement when it comes to dressing up for your trip but before you hit your destination, the first place you're headed to is the airport.
While there's nothing wrong with dressing to the nines, it's important to keep in mind that comfort is key. Of course, you don't want to hassle yourself when taking off all your dangling accessories to pass the airport security, right?
If your clothes prevent you from getting past security swiftly, booking in at your gate, and sitting comfortably for your three- or 16-hour flight, you've got to rethink. Obviously, if you have the benefit of fractional jet ownership, this won't be a problem for you. However, if you are traveling economy you will want to avoid delaying yourself (and others), so need to wear the comfiest yet stylish pieces.
Here, I wore an oversized top that I got from Korea and paired it with an A-line denim skirt. As for my shoes, I wore a pair of white rubber shoes so I can run whenever I need to. Kidding aside, this is so I could endure the long walks and hours of standing in line.

Take a look out the window and one thing is for certain—the dreaded rainy season is here in Manila (Uh-oh). However, as the rain greets us with a gloomy downpour, fashion never stops for true fashion girls. Looking stylish and sleek while keeping your outfit weather-ready is a discipline that can be learned and perfected over time. Some may wonder how looking waterproof can ever achieve très chic with bulky layers, well you’re in luck as we have 5 have surefire ways to cure rainy season blues through style and fashion.
1. Choose a flattering rain jacket
The classic waterproof outerwear has always had a negative reputation for being unflattering when it comes to almost any outfit. There’s a science to choosing the right cut and fit with rain jackets. Choose an inner top with the same color as your rain jacket—this will mold both pieces together and make the synergy look easy and seamless. BNY Jeans published an article on some jackets perfect for the rainy season, these include bomber jackets, hoodies, and denim jackets for both men and women.
2. Invest in edgy combat boots
Take on rain-soaked streets with no fear by choosing the right pair of rain boots. Toughen-up the look with a pair of ankle or knee-length rain boots in neutral colors. When going for an easy and casual #OOTD, More writer Katelyn Cheek suggests a striped top and khaki-colored mini skirt mix perfectly with plain black boots and a cognac bag. Wear your hair down and be ready to jump into puddles in all your fashion-forward glory.
3. Top your look with a bucket hat
Teen Vogue shares that you can never go wrong with a classic black bucket hat especially during the rainy season. A bucket hat can give your overall #OOTD a more youthful look and gives a quirkiness to gloomy rainy day blues. Pair this accessory with an oversized sweater, a denim mini, and black combat boots.
4. Slip on interesting socks with your boots
An added layer of socks can warm your toes nicely for those cold rainy nights. However, be careful with choosing socks that might make your legs look stumpy and stiff. Babble shares that you should opt for more neutral colors like black, navy, olive green, or gray, and only let a few inches of them show from your boots.
5. Pick slim-fit pants with your bulky outerwear
Manila’s climate has always been erratic in nature. During those humid days with a bit of rain, wear skinny jeans to keep your legs dry without suffocating them with thick fabric. Should you get caught in the rain with skinnies on, worry no more as these pants are usually made with flimsy material allowing quick drying while looking fabulous.
When it’s raining cats and dogs, don’t be discouraged to dress up with the fear of getting soaked. Waterproof your outfit with chic finds and pieces that will warm you for the days to come. Fashion dilemmas are not uncommon and happen to just about everybody. To find easy solutions, check out our post on fashion dilemmas here on Cielo Fernando.

Thailand is one of the places that are exciting yet hard to dress up for. One, the weather in Thailand is so hot so I can wear mostly what I do in Manila since they have a similar weather which makes it easy but hard at the same time because as you know, Thailand has a lot of temples and most of the tours include them.
Because temples are sacred places, you have to dress accordingly. But there are some that aren't requiring dress codes especially the one in the photos below.

Thailand is one of the most famous Asian countries that has notable cuisine because of its undeniably raw and tasty flavors. Here, I'll start with the most important thing that you have to know about Thai food—they're mostly spicy!
And because I'm not the spicy kind of person, I was hesitant to try most of the Thai cuisine and opted for the safe ones a.k.a. fast food. But lo and behold, the meals at fast food chains are spicy even the ones that they gave me when I asked for something that's "not spicy at all."
It's a different kind of spice; it's like it's gonna burn your tongue and release hot air from your ears. Anyway, so what I tried there were the street foods and the ones that are soft-flavored.

July 28, 2018 Seoul, South Korea
Winter has come and so it goes. After the cold and pale season of the year, the flowers will bloom and the spring season is here. The bright, colorful, and stunning ambiance it gives surely takes our hearts, no wonder it is the most sought-after season of the year. That's why many people are searching for the best spring destinations in Seoul.
I'm so glad that my dream trip has come true. I made sure that when I travel to Seoul, it should be a full bloom spring for me to see the gorgeous pink sakura and there I was, delighted and in awe of its beauty.
In this post, you'll find out the best spring destinations in Seoul and the best date to experience it.
Let's start with the dates.
When: April 4-11, 2018
From my extensive (wow) research, the forecast said the cherry blossoms in Seoul will start to bloom between April 2-10. What I did here was to choose the safest travel dates (April 4-11) that will cover the whole spring season. My advice to you is to keep an eye to the season's forecast. Also, since I'm pretty sure you're almost always on social media, why not use it for the benefit of your travel experience, so look for Koreans online or join a travelers' group and ask them. This is not creepy, okay? I did this and look where it got me. Also, the Koreans I met told me that cherry blossoms don't stay long. Usually, it only takes about three (3) days for you to experience a full bloom spring.
Where: I've got 3 places to recommend
Seokchon Lake
According to a Korean organization, Seockhon Lake boasts approximately 1,000 mesmerizing cherry blossom trees lined up like a tunnel of flowers, creating a fascinating scene in spring. So imagine how much blooms will surround you. It's also located near Lotte World. The place is a bit far from the city but let me tell you, the long commute is so worth it. Exaggerated as I could be but the place is beyond beautiful. It's mesmerizing! It will not be my favorite spot for nothing.
Seoul Forest
This place is such a treasure, too! The cherry blossom trees are perfectly lined up like they're the real-life umbrellas in every corner. However, the place is kind of crowded because it's like a popular hangout place for the youngsters. If I'm not mistaken, there are nearby schools in the area that's why it's mostly occupied by students.
Yeouido Hangang Park
Finally, the park that also caught my heart! Yeouido is such a great place to take photoshoots with cherry blossoms in the background. This is the best place to bask in the city's most beautiful blooms. Also, it's a peaceful and romantic place to spend time with your friends or loved ones. I'm not overreacting here but I really fell in love with the place, ambiance, atmosphere, everything about this park is worth exploring. Yeouido is definitely one of the best spring destinations in Seoul.
When are you planning to travel to Seoul? :)

Here's to you looking at the bright sunny day
even if the streets are gloomy outside the window.
Here's to your power and every struggle
you have gone through.
Here's to the pain, sufferings and blames
you have endured.
Here's to every moment you thought was your last
and all those times you thought things will never be the same again.
Here's to you, on this beautiful day
in spite of all the opposite
of your heart's content—you have thrived.
You have survived.
You've made it through every single one
of the worst and hardest times.
Can you imagine how wonderfully and amazingly strong you are?

I mean, why would you? If that's something that makes your body itchy; if that's something that make you sleepless; and if that's something that can't make you stop thinking about it, then get it.

One must be surprised if a real estate developer would rather have more greenery than standing properties in his land because most often than not, developers would do everything—evict illegal settlers and cut down the trees—to empty their lands and build the subdivision of their dreams.
But there's one developer that aims to promote not just its properties but also an environmental-friendly community.
