The Girl Behind the Pen

With all the piles of imaginary work I have, it's quite a surprise for me to be able to publish another post here. Add to that, I've got limited time to do the things I enjoy the most and binge into my bi-monthly routine a.k.a. shopping. Good thing, the Internet got my back and reminded me that online shopping is my best option. 

I'm pretty much a pro when it comes to that. I've seen many shops already; some are nice and some are not. Basically, I'm the one my friends run to when they want to shop online. They trust me enough to listen to my thoughts on every shop they mention *insert a slight grin here* I know what and not to recommend. I'm very particular with the shops I choose especially if I'm looking for a certain clothing. Of course, I'd rather stick to the website that has a clean layout and has helping tabs to make my shopping experience fast and easy. Just like RoseGal. Actually, this is the first time I'm going to post about my makeup haul because honestly, I don't really shop cosmetics that much as I am not a beauty junkie. But hey, a lady will always be a lady, so I need to make myself look good, too, you know?

Moving on, I'll share with you now my haul at BeautyMNL.

First on my list is this NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat Liquid Foundation. True to its name, it's not like the other liquid foundations that leave your face cakey and oily overtime. And unlike others, this foundation feels lighter when worn. It's a bit pricey but worth every penny. As they say, if there's one place to splurge on makeup, it's this since you'll wear this on much of your face.

When I was in high school, I can still remember the time I struggled in looking for a dress to wear on our Graduation Ball. Come to my debut and several events during college, this has still been my problem then. For a kuripot fashionista like me, I wanted a dress that will make heads turn but won't hurt my pocket. I have high standards when it comes to clothes so frankly, it's hard to find a dress that will suit my taste and budget.
