Can you still remember the last time you were rejected? And the first time you shed your tears because you felt that nothing went right?
There will be times that we will see the darkest side of the day— those days that everything bad might land in front of you; days that we'll suck at things— and we can't run from it. As part of becoming a worthy and successful person, you'll have to face so many rejections, shortcomings, etc.
In short, failures.
Nothing is perfect in this world (like what I keep on saying here on my blog).
We can't control what can or can't, what will or won't, and what should or should not happen.
What we can do is to deal with that and try to surpass it. So, here are my suggestions on how to deal with failure:
- Don't let it bring you down. Ever!
- Move on. There's more to life than that. Besides, it's only the beginning of your journey. You'll never know, you might be the next Bill Gates (I hope you know his story so you could relate to this lol)
- Take time to read. Maybe try to research or know what happened
- Don't blame someone. (Even if it feels better, for your own sake I bet. Been there, done that!) It'll never make the situation better. You just make yourself worse than a monster.
- Instead of putting others down, try to put them up! Nothing beats a helping hand.
- Be optimistic. Always look at the bright side. It happened because something better is waiting for you.
- Smile.

How could something happen if you don't do something to make it happen?
The moment you say I can't, it's the time you accept the defeat.
I'm sure that you've already said those two words before, maybe until now. I assume that you said it because you felt hopeless. Maybe confused. Maybe someone told you so (which is very rude). Or maybe, you felt of uncertainty.
But, should you stop there? Of course not! You are not born not to do things but to create amazing things. You are capable of anything. Even if others (or your inner self) tell you that you can't, don't let it rule you. Prove them wrong. Nobody can ever tell you that you can't do anything. It is you who knows your capability. You just have to believe in yourself that you can do it.
Sometimes, the problem is not with the things or people around us. Sometimes, it's just us. It's our inner selves that toxic our minds. We are scared of what might the outcome be. Truth be told, we are just scared of regrets and mistakes. We don't want to face errors in life. All we want is to succeed. But that's not how it is. Life is not about perfections, success, and the likes. There are also mistakes and bad things and that's what makes life more interesting. With its imperfections, we can explore and learn more about life.
Which is better? Loose or bun? :)
These are epic fail pictures. I was trying so hard to peg that pose with a swirling skirt but yeah, as expected, I failed. Well at least I tried, right? Hahaha

If I could only turn back time and change my mistakes before, I will.
The problem is, I can't.
I know for a fact that a lot of people are wishing the same thing. If only there's a time machine in this world, the inventor would be a billionaire now. But there isn't. We always ask God why it happened. It may sound cliche but everything happens for a reason. Some of us realized it too late already. Sometimes, we tend to overcome a mistake by another mistake.
As I write this, someone from the past sent me a message on Facebook. This post is not supposed to be about our "past" but my "own" mistakes. Since it happened, I guess it's a perfect timing. Lol. He told me that he's very sorry for his decision before. To be honest, I wonder why he's saying it to me just now. Not when my heart's still longing for him. Hello, it's been what? 4 years! But like what I've said, it happened for a reason. Maybe if he talked to me when there's still a chance "for us" before, I would be so happy that time and I'm sure of it. I might fly into clouds and dream of endless love. I might give him another chance. And maybe, we will get back together.
But, if he talked to me when I still haven't moved on, I may not have grown up. I may not be matured enough to understand things and still, be immature. I may not have explored what I can do without him. And I may not have had a relationship with my current boyfriend.
What happened to us hurt me. Actually, it broke me. But you know what? I am thankful because it happened. I am thankful because my heart was broken. Not just broken, but torn apart. Why? Because I became happier. I became matured. I learned to love myself. I became a better me. And I'm very thankful because of what happened, I met my one and only love (Fine, I'm cheesy. Happy? Hahaha)
In life, we have to learn how to accept things because that's the only way to move on and be happy.

“If she’s amazing, she won’t be easy. If she’s easy, she won’t be amazing. If she’s worth it, you wont give up. If you give up, you’re not worthy.. Truth is, everybody is going to hurt you; you just gotta find the ones worth suffering for.” -Bob Marley

Clock bag. Another one of a kind piece I saw in Choies is this. Isn't it amazing?
Cat dress. Although I don't like cats, this dress is calling my name. Hahaha
