The Girl Behind the Pen

Growing up, I was always self-conscious to the point that I want to be someone else, to look as good as the pretty girls I see in fresh pages of the magazines. But I was afraid to try a new style. I was so comfortable at how I looked, but deep inside, I know that I want more. My fifteen year-old self thought that I don't want to be just another girl in the room. I wanted to stand out. And that's when I decided to try something new. I tried to change myself.

I wouldn't consider wearing velvet outdated. Especially on holidays or on a special night, there's no better way of doing it than with velvet. Its classic luxe accent fascinates me in every way.

Although this trend is a bit hard to wear everywhere, there's still a way to pull it off and look more applicable to the place. With this romper, you could pair it with a denim jacket to make it look more casual. How about you, do you have ideas on how to style this velvet romper? :)

So this month, went to Batangas to attend the Fiesta in Sta. Teresita. This is what I wore for the first day of our trip. I chose to wear something cute yet, comfortable. and this is just the perfect outfit for summer roadtrip. I know that this is so simple and plain, but to look at it, I love the zipper on top that makes it looked cute (for me). Hahaha
