Growing up, I was always self-conscious to the point that I want to be someone else, to look as good as the pretty girls I see in fresh pages of the magazines. But I was afraid to try a new style. I was so comfortable at how I looked, but deep inside, I know that I want more. My fifteen year-old self thought that I don't want to be just another girl in the room. I wanted to stand out. And that's when I decided to try something new. I tried to change myself.

Korean fashion is almost everywhere. With the booming K-Pop and of course, Korean dramas, Filipinas have taken their fashion style to the next level.
I must admit, since I watched the Descendants of the Sun, I was totally hooked with Korean fashion. It's very cute, clean, chic and girly. Though this style might be a sore to some, still there are girls who'd like to pull it off and unleash the Korean in them. So, I've listed the basic must-have pieces to help you slay it like a true Korean fashion girl.

Annyeong! Since K-dramas are all over here, I'm inspired to do a post on Korean fashion. Their style mostly rely on either cropped or over-sized tops and pair them with button down skirts. Cute is the perfect way to describe K-fashion.
So on this post, I'll round up a list of must-haves to pull off a Korean fashion.

I wouldn't consider wearing velvet outdated. Especially on holidays or on a special night, there's no better way of doing it than with velvet. Its classic luxe accent fascinates me in every way.
Although this trend is a bit hard to wear everywhere, there's still a way to pull it off and look more applicable to the place. With this romper, you could pair it with a denim jacket to make it look more casual. How about you, do you have ideas on how to style this velvet romper? :)

Who says sneakers and dress combo is out? I'm pretty sure that trend won't go away anytime soon, 'cause seriously, why should it? It's one of the best things that ever happened in fashion history!
Comfy and still stylish.
But if you are struggling to know which dress could totally go well with your good ol' sneakers, I've rounded up a list of three dresses that could be perfect for you.
Denim
Striped-dress
You can get these cute dresses at Romwe.

Now that summer has officially ended here in Manila, it's time to put all the sunny dresses and bikinis together and make room for the wet season essentials aka the jackets. Here, I've listed down the four (4) kinds of jackets every woman should own.
DENIM
Denim would totally be the most famous and classic kind of jacket anyone could have. It's very versatile and could be paired with almost anything. This kind of jacket, for me, is the most essential of all.
Hey, leather jackets are not just for tough guys! We, ladies, can rock this style, too! However, this kind also comes with a twinkling price tag. Good thing, there are online shops that sells leather jackets at an affordable price.
HOODED
If you're not the type of gal who has always an umbrella with her, then this jacket is perfect for you!
BOMBER
Now, this one became (and still) a hype 'cause why not? It's very stylish and trendy. No wonder it has become a street wear essential.
What's your favorite on the list? Let me know below. :)

Oversized jackets have been taking the center stage for quite a long time already and I don't think they have plans of stepping out any time soon despite the heat of our tropical climate.
I couldn't blame everyone for being so into this trend because they actually look cool. However, the jacket has always been paired with the same pieces— skinny jeans, boots, or sneakers. Still, I couldn't blame everyone, even I, am guilty of this way of styling, because they're actually the go-to pieces that are very easy to combine and pull off a rad look.
But if you want to step out of the bandwagon, you got to think of other ways to wear a jacket. In this case, I paired it with an A-line khaki skirt.

Sometimes, life is about risking everything for a dream no one can see but you.
At seven, my relatives asked me what I want to be when I grow up and I said proudly with excitement, A Doctor! At ten, I always ask for colored pencils and a sketch pad, trying to design clothes and houses. At twelve, my teacher asked us to draw in a blank sheet of paper what we want to be in the future, and I can still remember myself, drawing a professional-looking woman holding a microphone and a notepad in front of a camera. At sixteen, my friends asked me what course I'll be taking in college and I said uncertainly, uhm, I like to cook, but really don't know how.
I really had a baffled mind growing up. Whenever someone asks me what I want to do in the future, I am always like ".....". But now, the question has changed to what do you want to do after college? There is a huge difference between the two. It's easier to hear someone asks what do you want to be in the future? than what do you want to do after college?
