You give a hand to someone who needs it. You lift people up when they're feeling down. You love like tomorrow's the end of the world. Loving as they see you.

But what they don't see is that you also need love. That you don't like being alone (at times); that you don't like rejection. They see you as the strongest girl so they don't see that you're also broken inside. That you also need help; that you also need a hand to lift you up whenever your heart is heavy.

They think you can do it all, that you have no problem at all. But you have, in fact, a lot. They should notice that even the strongest girl breaks down when they've already had enough; when you just couldn't do it anymore. They should see that you don't like being your own hero nor being your own best friend or even biggest fan because you need someone, too. Someone who will cheer you up. Someone who will be there for you if you feel like everything you've worked for is falling apart. 

You may be born to be a leader but you also need someone to lead the way when you're already feeling lost. They should see that. 

You're a strong girl but I know that being strong is tiring, too, because it was not you're born with; it was something that you had to develop because of all the storms that came your way, all the challenges you had to face and all the heartbreaks you had to endure.

I know you miss who you were before: the vulnerable, fragile and hopeful girl who was willing to give her all. I know you miss your old self before becoming someone else, before the world taught you the art of being alone because people always leave and that counting on others will always end up in disappointment.
