You are too beautiful to not be looked at. You are too graceful to not be asked for a dance. You are too shiny to not be taken on a date night out. You are too smart to not have a conversation with. And you are too precious to not be held.

And when they already had a good look at everything you have to offer; when they have taken your truths, flaws and secrets with them; and when they realize how real this is becoming, it hits them.

All before cowardice kicks in, they'll stand beside you.

That is when the people you thought they were is replaced by the morose truth of what they really are. That is when they lose all the guts and leave after saying you will find better than me.

So do not ever settle for less. You are strong yet charmingly vulnerable. Go for what makes you happy but know that you deserve better than what you think is already good for you now.
