Style Guide: How to Wear a Midi Skirt the Right Way

Ever since skirts became a thing, my five-foot-and-few-inches-self wished to have longer legs for me to pull off the look. Yes, there are different kinds and of different lengths but since I'm a lover of skirts, I want to have them in all forms—skater skirt, maxi, or pencil skirt. I have all of them except for maxi. To me, it was meant for modelesque ladies. Good thing, midi skirts were born. 

But I thought anyone could look good on skirts may it be petite or long-leggeds. We just have to know the basics when it comes to wearing one. So, I made a short guide on how to wear a midi skirt the right way and look good on it.

1. Pair it with a cropped top.

Because of its short length, it adds an illusion to your body that helps you look taller. It always does the trick, girl!

2. But if you don't have a cropped top, just tuck it in.

3. Add a little accessory

To have the extra feminine vibe, accessorize it with pearls but keep it minimal so as not to make it overwhelming.

4. Go high or go home

Personally, I don't like wearing heels but I think they are your best friend if you ever think of slipping into midi. Heels are an instant way to un-frump it. Besides, they are confidence booster.

But if all else fails, the only way to pull this look is to smile. Just smile and be confident. Trust me, it works!
